Message After some careful thought, and having the sex of our unborn child determine my continued ownership of my Z, I've decided to sell it after the next West Coast Nationals show in 2005.

Long story short, my immediate family has been cursed with an army of all women. Which pretty much makes me the last male figure in the family. A handful of aunts, over a dozen female cousins, and even their kids are female. A couple of years ago the Mrs. and I had our first child, a daughter. Now, after finding out our next child due early next year will be another girl, my dreams of passing the torch (my Z traditions) on to a son is out of the question. Not that a third time would be a charm, we're just not thinking about trying again. So with that said, I plan on selling it right around West Coast Nationals. And I'm sure I'd probably miss the annual Z shows, club meets, and Nissan BBQ's, but with what little activity and lack of collectiveness that goes on here in SoCal. yearly, I probably wouldn't miss anything, let alone be missed. Not that some of you gave a rat's ass in the first place.

But who knows, maybe I'll change my mind before then, but more than likely not. Besides, the resale on the Z isn't getting any higher, so why not cash out now. And then some people say it's not worth selling, with the tons of parts I have on it, but who really gets what they ask when they sell their project cars anyway. And I don't expect to get what I paid out of it, but at least I have the power to select a new owner that can appreciate the Z lineage and the modifications I've done, rather than selling it to some punk-kid that'll total it, or have it confiscated for street racing.

Anyway, enough with the ramblings. Just thought I'd share the info.with you guys... Another factor for deciding to sell was that a third of my local Z buddies are selling their Zs too. Mostly for similar reasons, financial obligations, or their schedules just don't permit. So why not just jump on the bandwagon too. Besides, most of the people in this forum seem to jump at any new fad whenever anything seems to take popularity anyway.

Later.
